Everything at Humberto & Lara is made with love, by hand and with the finest materials.

The wood for our furniture pieces, hailing from the beautiful mountains of Chiapas, varies depending on the role it must fulfill - we use pine, we use cedar, we use mahogany and more. We apply high quality paints to our more colourful pieces, that will withstand everyday use without tarnishing, or showing any marks or scratches...

Our decorative pieces are made with hand picked fabrics and yarn, from our luxuriously boho cushions, stitched by artisans with velvet and lace, to our gorgeous, fully lined blankets and throws.

We love the little details, and are always happy to discover beautiful handles of gold, marble or antique brass, often with intricate designs and a tiny touch of wit.
